YES! The Arts are Valuable!

In past years, when I worked to champion the arts  in an organization or push a particular approach in order to  break out of the traditional way of working etc., I would find myself advocating from an emotional and personal experience place, but with limited data to support my position. It felt challenging to create a dialogue with those who saw the arts as an “extra”, an “option”, or in the extreme, a “waste of time” needed to prioritize other works.  So empowering to see studies like this!
